When the Eucharistic Prayer begins, the choir and congregation join their voices in the Sanctus, the great hymn of heaven. "Nsọ Nsọ Nsọ" is a vibrant Igbo setting of this essential Mass part, composed by Chukwujekwu Nweke. The piece captures the awe and majesty of the moment we sing "Holy, Holy, Holy," lifting our hearts as we prepare for the consecration.

The arrangement opens with a bold, repeated declaration of God's holiness, moving steadily into a rhythmic and joyful "Hosanna n'elu kasịelu" (Hosanna in the highest). Nweke gives the Benedictus ("Ọ dị ngọzi bụ onye na-abịa...") to a distinct Tenor line, allowing a smaller section to herald the coming of the Lord before the full choir returns for the final, triumphant Hosanna. It is a wonderful choice for Sunday Mass, bringing a lively yet reverent energy to the choir loft and encouraging the whole church to join the praise.
