About Duo seraphim
This powerful six-part motet for SSAATTBB voices sets a biblical text expressing the awe-inspiring praise of the Trinity and the heavenly host. The words describe two seraphim crying out to one another, "Holy, Lord God of Sabaoth. The whole earth is full of his glory." The music reflects the divine majesty and celestial vision, with intricate vocal writing that builds to a climactic affirmation of God's glory. The Latin text, drawn from Isaiah and a later addition to the Gospel of John, is treated with solemnity and grandeur, making this a profound and moving work for services or concerts.
