Full Lyrics
VERSE 1
What are the souls reviving strains,
Which echo thus from Salem's plains;
What anthems loud and louder still,
Su sweetly sound from Zion's hill.
VERSE 2
Lo 'tis a youthful Chorus sing,
Hosanna to the King of Kings;
Not these alone their voices raise,
for We will join these songs of Praise.
VERSE 3
Messiah's Name Shall joy inspire,
alike to Jews and Gentiles heart;
He bled for you and bled for me,
and We will Sing Hosanna too.
VERSE 4
Proclaim Hosanna loud and clear
see David's son and Lord appear
All praise on earth and to him be giv'n,
and glory shout through highest heav'n.
CHORUS
Hosanna in the highest,
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna!
Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna!
