About Dextera Domini
Francesco Feroci composed this motet for TTB choir. The Latin text is drawn from the Offertory for the Feast of the Ascension. The opening lines, 'Dextera Domini fecit virtutem', speak of God's right hand performing strength and exalting the singer. The following lines express a profound trust and commitment to proclaim God's works, asserting 'Non moriar, sed vivam, et narrabo opera Domini' – 'I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord'.
