VERSE 1
This is the account of creation of heaven and earth
When the Lord made the earth and heaven
Neither the plants nor grains were growing on the earth
For the Lord has not yet sent rain to water the earth
And no man to cultivate the land
VERSE 2
Then the Lord God created man from the dust of the earth
And breathed the breath of life into him
And he became alive
The Lord God planted a garden in Eden in the east
And there he placed the living man that he created
VERSE 3
The Lord God made all sorts of trees to grow up from the ground
Trees that were beautiful and produced good and delicious fruit
In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life
And also the tree of the knowledge of good and evil
VERSE 4
The Lord formed from the ground all wild animals and birds of the sky
And brought them unto man and that man gave them name
The Lord took out one of the man's ribs and made a woman
And brought her to the man to serve as his perfect help
CHORUS
The Lord made the heaven and the earth by his power
In wisdom he created everything by his power
The earth and he created the heavens
