HOLY HOLY HOLY by B.L. NATURE — Lyrics
About HOLY HOLY HOLY
"Holy Holy Holy" is a majestic setting of the Sanctus, the great acclamation of praise sung at the end of the Preface during the Mass. Composed by B.L. Nature, this piece uses the traditional English liturgical text, lifting the congregation's voices to join the choirs of angels in declaring God's glory.
The arrangement is built with a beautiful, layered choral entry. As noted on the score, the bass section introduces the song, followed in turn by the tenor and alto voices. This steady gathering of parts creates a rich foundation before the sopranos finally enter, giving the declaration "Lord of Sabaoth" a powerful, swelling sense of reverence.
In the choir loft, this piece offers a wonderful opportunity for dynamic contrast. The rhythmic drive through "Heaven and earth are full of your glory" leads naturally into the joyful, soaring "Hosannah in the highest," making it an uplifting moment in the Eucharistic celebration.
