About Confirma hoc Deus
Luigi Bottazzo composed this motet for male voices in TTB. Sung in Latin, Confirma hoc Deus is a sacred setting of a prayer asking God to strengthen his work within us. The text continues, referencing the temple in Jerusalem and rulers bringing offerings, concluding with the joyous exclamation of Alleluia. Bottazzo's motet would suit services or concerts where a powerful, devotional male-voice sound is desired, reflecting the solemnity and hope found in the biblical verses.
