REFRAIN
You are a priest for ever
A priest like Melchizedek of old
You are a priest for ever
Like Melchizedek of old
Chosen by God set apart
As ambassador of Christ; a priest for ever
VERSE 1
No one takes this honour upon himself;
He must be called just like Aaron was called
And many were called aright but few were chosen
You are a priest for ever
VERSE 2
The Lord has taken an oath and will not change His mind
You are a priest for ever in the order of Melchizedek!
VERSE 3
The Spirit of God reposes on you
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations
Oh how beautiful are the feet of God's Ambassadors who herald His Kingdom!
