WHAT A BLESSED HOPE
[Verse 1]
What a blessed hope is mine
Through the love of Jesus
I'm an heir of life divine
Through the love of Jesus
[Chorus]
He will my soul defend
He my unchanging friend
Till the end
All glory be to Jesus
[Verse 2]
I can sing without a fear praise the name of Jesus,
He my present help is near praise the name of Jesus.
[Verse 3]
For the blessed hope in Christ I lay all my strife in this world,
For our salvations dear Christ did come down from heaven.
[Verse 4]
Pressing on my pilgrims way trusting only Jesus,
Oh tis joy from day to day trusting only Jesus.
[Verse 5]
This my journey I'll pursue looking unto Jesus
Till the land of rest I view there to dwell with Jesus
WITH AN EVERLASTING LOVE
[Refrain]
With an everlasting love you care for me O Lord
I will sing forever of your love
I give thanks to you with all my heart
You have heard the word of my mouth
[Verse 2]
On the day I called you answered me
You increased the strength of my soul
[Verse 3]
Though I walked in the midst of affliction
You stretched out your hand to my aid
[Verse 4]
Your love O Lord is eternal
Discard not the work of your hand
[Verse 5]
In the sight of the Angels I'll bless you
In your temple my heart will adore
[Verse 6]
I give thanks for your love and faithfulness
Which excel all our heart can conceive
