"Ride on in Majesty" is a quintessential Palm Sunday hymn that captures the bittersweet triumph of Christ’s entry into Jerusalem. As the choir sings the opening lines, we can almost see the crowds waving palms and laying their garments on the road. Yet, the music carries an underlying solemnity, reminding us that this royal procession is ultimately a march toward the cross.

The arrangement by Tsado Pikin builds on this powerful contrast. After the traditional verses, the voices break into an echoing, layered refrain of "Ride on," driving home the momentum of the journey.
