ANYI G'EJE N'IHU CHINEKE

"Anyị G'eje N'ihu Chineke" is a vibrant Entrance hymn that perfectly captures the spirit of gathering for Mass. Composed by Jim Madu, the title translates to "We will go into the presence of God," setting an immediate tone of reverence and joyful anticipation. As the choir processes down the aisle, the opening lines remind the congregation exactly why we are here: to offer thanks to a God whose goodness has no end, and to present the great Sacrifice of the Mass ("Aja nke Missa").

The structure of the song makes it incredibly effective for leading worship. After a rich opening chorus that calls us to seek forgiveness and offer praise, the verses take us through a litany of God's creative works. We sing of the Creator of the whole world, the giver of wealth and abundance, and the one who made humanity, blessing us with intellect and wisdom.
