Behold, among men the dwelling place of God;
they shall be His people and He shall be their Lord and God!
VERSE 1
People called by God thro' the word of the prophets;
People brought together in the house of the Lord;
People who attend to their Lord,
VERSE 2
Temple built by saints, by the martyrs and apostles;
Holy temple built upon Christ the Cornerstone;
Holy dwelling place of our God,
VERSE 3
People who are born in the waters of the Spirit;
People who are marked by the seal of the Spirit;
People in the Spirit made one,
VERSE 4
People who are grafted on Jesus the Vine;
Branches bearing fruit in the grace of the Lord;
Branches rooted in His great love,
VERSE 5
People nourished now by the body of the Lord;
People who sit down to the new paschal supper;
Who shall pass from death into life, the Church of Christ the Lord!
VERSE 6
People justified by the grace of the Spirit;
People who are heirs of an everlasting life;
People now enlightened by Christ,
VERSE 7
People called in faith to be quickened by His life;
People called by God from the darkness into light;
Holy people called to be royal,
VERSE 8
People whom the Lord has acquired for His praise;
People who put trust in the Lord Jesus Christ;
People called by God for His own,
VERSE 9
People who proclaim the great glory of the Father;
By the Lord, Jesus Christ, His only Son;
And in the Spirit give praise,
