AJA DI NSO

"Aja Di Nso" is a reverent Offertory hymn that draws the congregation into the heart of the Eucharistic sacrifice. When we sing this piece, we remind everyone that the gifts carried to the altar are more than just physical items—we are offering our very selves, body and soul ("Ahụ na mkpụrụ obi anyị"), to God. The melody carries a gentle, pleading quality that perfectly suits the procession of gifts.

Fred V.C. Uche’s composition builds a strong sense of communal prayer. The verses lead the faithful through acts of thanksgiving for God's goodness, offering Him the highest praise, and asking for His mercy and grace upon our community. As the choir and congregation unite in the response, "Chukwu biko nara aja," it becomes a sincere petition for the Lord to accept our offerings and bless His children.
