The Lord is my shepherd

When we sing Psalm 23, we are sharing one of the most deeply comforting prayers in the Church's life. Martins Ogbonna’s setting of "The Lord is my shepherd" was written specifically as a Responsorial Psalm for the Commemoration of All Souls, a day when the whole parish gathers to remember and pray for those who have passed on. The melody is gentle and steady, giving the congregation a reassuring refrain to hold onto between the verses.
