The Creed [I Believe]

When it comes time for the Profession of Faith, a vibrant, rhythmic setting of the Creed can lift the entire congregation. Omaye Isaac’s "The Creed [I Believe]" does exactly this, transforming the ancient declaration of our faith into an engaging choral piece. Instead of simply reciting the articles of belief, the choir leads the people in a joyful, affirming chorus of "I believe in God the Father, yes."

The song is structured perfectly for a Nigerian choir loft, breaking the long text of the Apostles' Creed into six manageable verses that cover the life of Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the resurrection of the dead.
