ORIRI NSO

"Oriri Nso" is a gentle and deeply reverent Communion hymn that invites the faithful to the Eucharistic table. The arrangement by Ifeanyi Nwaiwu brings a wonderful sense of movement and devotion to the choir loft. Rather than keeping the melody strictly in the soprano line, the first two verses hand the lead to the bass section, calling the hungry to come and remember the sacrifice of His body and blood. This grounds the hymn in a warm, resonant foundation before transitioning into a deeply personal third verse.

During this final section, the choir settles into a meditative ostinato, repeatedly whispering "bata n'ime obi m" (come into my heart).
