About Jesulein, du bringest allen Freude
The joyful German text of this sacred song expresses how the Christ child brings happiness from his heavenly throne as the Son of God. The text yearns for a swift journey to join the angelic host in eternal praise. Johann Erasmus Kindermann's setting for treble voices (SSB) captures this devotional spirit with directness and warmth. It is a simple, heartfelt expression of faith and longing for heavenly union, suitable for services and special occasions.
