About Gloria
Remi Studer's Gloria is a setting of the Mass Ordinary text for SATB choir. Sung in Latin, this sacred work is an expression of praise and adoration. The text begins "Gloria in excelsis Deo" and moves through a profound invocation of the divine, from the heavenly King to the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. The music aims to reflect the grandeur and solemnity of these liturgical words, building to a powerful affirmation of the Trinity and concluding with "Amen."
