Et iterum venturus est by Sampson I — Lyrics

Credo in unum Deum.

About Et iterum venturus est

This setting of a fragment from the Nicene Creed speaks of faith in one God, the Creator of all, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son. It recounts his divine nature, his incarnation, his suffering and death under Pontius Pilate, his resurrection on the third day, and his ascension into heaven. The text culminates with the affirmation of his future return in glory to judge the living and the dead. Scored for ATB voices in Latin, this sacred setting reflects the solemnity and grandeur of the Nicene Creed, capturing the theological depth of its assertions within a concise choral form.
