Alleluja. Confitebor tibi, Domine, in toto corde meo, in consilio justorum,
et congregatione.
Magna opera Domini: exquisita in omnes voluntates ejus.
Confessio et magnificentia opus ejus, et justitia ejus manet in saeculum saeculi.
Memoriam fecit mirabilium suorum, misericors et miserator
Dominus.
Escam dedit timentibus se; memor erit in saeculum testamenti sui.

About Confitebor tibi Domine
Giuseppe Belloni's Confitebor tibi Domine is a setting of Psalm 111. This sacred work for SATTB choir in Latin comes from the tradition of Vesper Psalms. The text is a song of praise, giving thanks to God for his mighty works and everlasting covenant. The composer explores the joy and reverence called for in the psalm, from the opening declaration of a wholehearted confession to the contemplation of God's wisdom. Belloni's SATTB setting allows for rich harmonic possibilities, enabling the choir to convey the grandeur and faithfulness of God as expressed in the ancient words.
