Confitebor tibi

This unison chant is sung in Latin and would be appropriate for services in the Catholic tradition. The text, drawn from Psalm 119, is a prayer for spiritual life and obedience, beginning with thanksgiving and a plea for God's word to bring life. Its character as an Offertory hymn suggests it would be sung during the presentation of gifts at Mass, offering a moment of profound reflection and devotion. The plainchant style, with its flowing melodic lines and textual focus, provides a direct and powerful connection to the sacred words. This setting offers a deeply spiritual experience for both singer and listener.
