Nara Aja Di Nso

"Nara Aja Di Nso" is a reverent Igbo hymn often sung during the Offertory or the Liturgy of the Eucharist. The opening lines are a direct plea for God to accept the holy sacrifice. As the choir leads the congregation in presenting their gifts, the melody carries a deep sense of surrender, asking the Lord to receive and bless what is brought to the altar.

Chuka Okoye's arrangement gives the soprano line a soaring, prayerful lead, while the lower voices provide a gentle, rhythmic backing—especially in the first two verses where they softly echo the name of Jesus. The final verse shifts focus to the ultimate sacrifice of Christ's blood, making it a fitting piece for the moments leading up to the Consecration.
