About Coemt doch met my
This SAB setting of the Dutch hymn Coemt doch met my opens with a gentle and inviting musical character, reflecting the joy and praise of the text. The voices move in smooth, often homophonic lines, creating a sense of congregational unity and shared devotion. The music is arranged to be accessible to choirs of varying sizes and abilities, allowing the message of God's greatness and loving care to shine through. The text itself is a devotional outpouring, urging the faithful to sing with gladness, to approach God's presence, and to find solace in Him as their comforter. It praises God as a mighty King, sovereign over all creation, and assures believers that He will never abandon those who seek Him and keep His commandments.
