"Chukwuemika" is a profound Igbo Communion hymn that reflects on the mystery of the Eucharist. The title, expressing that God has done so much, sets a tone of deep gratitude for the gift of the sacrament. It invites the congregation to approach the altar and receive the Lord, marveling at the divine presence hidden in the simple elements of the feast.

The lyrics beautifully articulate the transformation that happens at the altar. The choir sings of how the bread is no longer just bread, and the wine becomes Christ's blood ("Achịcha abụghịzi achịcha, mmanya wee maburu ọbara ya"). Successive verses recount the Last Supper, where Jesus gathered his disciples, took the bread, and blessed the holy cup, offering his body and blood freely to his followers.
