About Celtic Blessing
This gentle unison anthem offers a blessing of peace and service, its English text drawing inspiration from the wounds of Christ to encourage compassion and love in the singer and listener. It is well-suited for times of reflection, a benediction, or a general offering of spiritual encouragement. The text moves through distinct petitions, each starting with a parallel invocation of Christ's example and concluding with a wish for the congregation to embody those qualities. This sacred song is a simple yet profound prayer for the choir and their community, conveying a message of hopeful spiritual guidance.
