Benediction - Jude 24,25

This anthem is ideally suited for the close of a service, offering a powerful and uplifting benediction. The SATB voicing allows for rich harmonies and a full choral sound as the choir delivers the words from the Epistle to the Jude. The text speaks of God's ability to keep the faithful from stumbling and to present them "faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy." It concludes with a profound declaration of "glory and majesty, dominion and power" to the "only wise God our Saviour, both now and ever." The music aims to reflect the soaring confidence and assurance found in these sacred words.
