About Benedicite
Graham Patterson's Benedicite is a striking setting of a well-known liturgical text, drawing from the rich tradition of sacred music. This work for SATB choir masterfully blends Latin and English, offering a dynamic and devotional experience. The text, originating from the Book of Daniel, is a powerful exhortation for all creation to praise God. Patterson's composition likely reflects the grandeur and scope of this ancient canticle, inviting singers and listeners alike to join in a universal act of adoration. It is a piece suited to services and concerts where a substantial choral offering is desired.
