Written originally for the Bella Voce Choir in Ifite Awka, it carries a quiet devotion that fits perfectly into the solemn moments just before Communion.

The piece opens with a simple tenor call before the voices unite in the familiar Latin text. As the choir sings "Qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis," the harmony builds a sense of earnest petition. On the third and final repetition, the music shifts to the concluding "Dona nobis pacem," leaving the congregation with a lingering sense of peace as they prepare to approach the altar.
