SURRENDER YOUR HEART

"Surrender Your Heart" is a joyful and reassuring call to trust in Christ, composed by the renowned Nigerian Catholic musician Jude Nnam. With its bright, rhythmic melody and comforting message, the song invites the listener to give their life over to Jesus, reminding us that He will "take care of your soul in everything that you do." It is a piece of deep personal testimony, declaring that Christ is the "love of my life" and that His grace is a constant, unchanging presence.

In the choir loft, this piece is a favorite for the Offertory or Thanksgiving procession. The arrangement features Nnam's signature call-and-response style, where the choir weaves a busy, joyful harmony beneath the soaring melody. As the verses progress, the singers reflect on how Jesus remains "the same as yesterday, today and forever," offering a powerful message of faith and surrender that naturally moves the congregation to joyful worship.
