"Obong Tua Nnyin Mbom" is a reverent Efik setting of the Kyrie Eleison, bringing the solemnity of the Penitential Rite into the native tongue of southeastern Nigeria. Sung at the very beginning of the Mass, this piece leads the congregation in a humble plea for God's mercy and forgiveness before the Liturgy of the Word begins.
