LORD HAVE MERCY (Kyrie)

Jude Nnam brings his signature choral warmth to the Penitential Rite with this setting of the "Kyrie". Written in solfa notation for four-part harmony, the piece weaves the traditional plea for God's compassion into a gentle, flowing melody that invites the congregation into a spirit of reflection.

During the opening moments of the Mass, as the choir leads the faithful in acknowledging their need for grace, the staggered vocal entries and repeating phrases build a sense of earnest petition.
