ONDU CHEJU MO MI WA

"Ondu Cheju Mo Mi Wa" is a gentle, reverent setting of the Kyrie from Jude Nnam’s Missa Ejumomi. Sung in the Igala language, it carries the familiar, ancient plea of the Penitential Rite: "Lord, have mercy." This piece opens the Mass with a quiet sincerity, setting a reflective mood for the congregation before the celebration moves into the Gloria.

The arrangement follows the traditional threefold structure—calling on the Lord, then Christ, and the Lord again.
