About Louis K. Liu Hymns (劉克爾聖詩專輯 )
This arrangement of Rooted and Built Up in Him was composed by Louis K. Liu for the Chinese Grace Bible Church summer conference in 1992. The text, adapted from the Book of Colossians, speaks of growing strong in faith, rooted in Christ, and bearing fruit through obedience and love. This SATB setting in Chinese captures the devotional spirit of the hymn, making it suitable for congregational singing or as a meaningful anthem for a church choir. Liu's work reflects a commitment to creating accessible and inspiring sacred music for the Chinese Christian community.
