Koddosh de Rosh Hashanah

Remi Studer sets a profound Hebrew text for male voices in this sacred work. The music is for TTBB choir, and the Hebrew lyrics focus on the holiness and glory of God, with references to his eternal sovereignty and unity. The text includes declarations of God's holiness and glory, the Shema Yisrael affirmation, and a prayer for God's reign. This setting offers a powerful and moving experience for both singers and listeners, suitable for occasions where the majesty and everlasting nature of the divine are to be contemplated. The piece draws on rich Jewish liturgical tradition, making it a significant addition to the sacred choral repertoire.
