Jesus, my Lord, my God, my all

When the monstrance is placed on the altar for Adoration, or when the church falls quiet after Communion, "Jesus, my Lord, my God, my all" gives voice to our deepest reverence. It is a hymn of profound Eucharistic devotion, capturing the awe of standing before the Real Presence. The words move from a sense of personal inadequacy—wondering how we can possibly love God as we ought—to a soaring plea for greater devotion.

The refrain, "Sweet Sacrament, we Thee adore," is one of the most familiar and beloved cries of faith in Catholic worship. As we sing through the verses, we ask for "Mary's sinless heart" to help us praise the Lord, marveling at the mystery of the Creator resting in a creature's hand.
