"Isẹnowẹ" is a vibrant Esan Christmas carol and entrance song composed by Irobhigaosen David. Rooted in the joyful announcement of the Nativity, the song proclaims "Abie ọmọ ni mhan" (a child is born to us) and celebrates the Savior's birth in Bethlehem. The lyrics invite the congregation into a space of deep gratitude and festive praise, capturing the awe of the incarnation in a truly indigenous voice.

Originally marked as an entry motet for the St. Patrick's Chaplaincy Choir at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, this piece carries the rhythmic energy perfect for a Christmas procession. The driving solfa lines and dynamic vocal entries give the choir plenty of room to express the celebration of the season. As the voices layer through the verses and unite in the refrain, it sets a welcoming, triumphant tone for the Mass.
