This motet for five voices (SATTB) sets a powerful Latin text concerning the Holy Name of Jesus. It is suitable for services in Ordinary Time or at major feasts of Christ, such as Christ the King. The text, drawn from scripture, speaks of Jesus' obedience unto death and his subsequent glorification.
