Suitable for liturgical use, this setting of a Latin entrance antiphon draws its text from the Book of Sirach. The composer, whose name is lost to history, has crafted a piece for treble voices (soprano and alto) and tenor, setting the words "In the midst of the Church he opened his mouth, and the Lord filled him with the spirit of wisdom and understanding; he clothed him with a robe of glory."
