In Dream Time

Kenneth Langer's SATB anthem In Dream Time offers a profound meditation on existence, beginning with the contemplative notion of a dream within which we are dreamt. This sacred work, set in English, invites listeners to consider the nature of consciousness and creation. Its text prompts reflection on our place within a larger, perhaps divine, unfolding. The SATB voicing allows for rich harmonic development, supporting the piece's philosophical depth and evocative imagery. This anthem is well-suited for moments of quiet contemplation or reflection in a sacred setting, offering both musical beauty and intellectual engagement for the choir and congregation alike.
