Agostino Agazzari's Ierusalem a 5 is a sacred motet for SSATB voices. The music opens with a sense of vibrant activity, quickly establishing a rich texture through the interplay of the five parts. The Latin lyrics speak of Jerusalem planting a vineyard and celebrating the coming of the Lord's day, urging Zion to turn to God.
