I will not leave you comfortless

This moving anthem for SATB choir sets a comforting message from the Gospel of John. The composer Jennifer Bastable draws on the promise of eternal presence and sustenance, words that offer solace and reassurance in times of need. The music is likely to be deeply devotional, suitable for thoughtful services or reflective moments within a larger choral programme. Its sacred character and direct, encouraging text make it an ideal choice for choirs seeking music that speaks powerfully to the human spirit, offering a message of hope and enduring connection. The SATB voicing allows for rich harmonic colour to underscore the text's profound sentiment.
