I Trust

This devotional anthem expresses profound trust in God's boundless love and grace, drawing inspiration from the writings of Clare of Assisi. The text opens with a declaration of faith in God's gentle presence and open door, moving towards a surrender of earthly power and a commitment to following Christ. The music sets these deeply personal reflections with a soaring melody and harmonic language that conveys both vulnerability and strength. Suitable for a solo voice, this hymn offers a moment of quiet contemplation and spiritual reassurance. The composer uses the English language to convey a message of hope and divine connection, making it a poignant addition to sacred repertoire.
