About Himmelsau, licht und blau
This traditional German folk song, Himmelsau, licht und blau, offers a series of rhetorical questions about the vastness of creation, from the stars in the sky to the grains of sand and the drops of the sea. Each question is answered by the refrain, "Ohne Zahl, soviel mal sei gelobt der ewige Gott" (Innumerable, may eternal God be praised so many times).
