Hear then, in love

Hear then, in love is a sacred hymn, suitable for services of dedication or commitment. The clear, direct English text speaks of offering oneself to divine service and the joy and peace found in such a commitment. The composer William A. Ogden sets these words for SATB choir, with a memorable melody that is both uplifting and accessible. The vocal writing is straightforward, making it a rewarding choice for choirs of varying experience who wish to present a message of devotion and spiritual fulfillment. Its hymnal character ensures it can be easily integrated into a broader liturgical context.
