Haiku, Book 9

A delightful choice for a summer concert or garden party, Graham Patterson's Haiku, Book 9 is a charming secular partsong for SATB choir. The text is in English, set in three short, evocative stanzas that capture the fleeting beauty of nature. Patterson’s setting is light and accessible, perfect for choirs looking for a refreshing and uplifting addition to their repertoire. The SATB voicing allows for rich harmonic colour, while the clear melodic lines make it a pleasure to learn and perform. This set of haiku offers a moment of gentle reflection and musical beauty, ideal for a lighter programme.
