A stirring hymn suitable for general congregational use or for a significant church occasion, Henry Thomas Smart's God of mercy, God of grace is here presented for SATB choir. The familiar English text speaks of God's boundless mercy and grace, asking for divine light to fill the Church and for salvation to extend to all corners of the earth. It calls for all people and nations to praise God, shouting and singing glory to their Saviour King and obeying His holy will. The music reflects the earnest supplication and triumphant adoration of the text.
