God is by Roger Petrich — Lyrics
God is the circle's center for those who dare embrace [God]
for those who merely stand in awe, [God] is the circle's rim.
About God is
Roger Petrich's God is offers a profound reflection on the divine presence, setting a contemplative English text for SATB choir. The words explore the multifaceted nature of God's relationship with humanity, describing God as both the central point of focus for the faithful and the encompassing boundary for those who observe from a distance. This sacred motet is ideal for a choir seeking to express deep theological concepts through rich choral textures. The SATB voicing allows for a full, resonant sound, perfectly suited to the spiritual depth of the message, creating an atmosphere of awe and quiet contemplation.
