About Gloria, Apt 8
This setting of the Gloria, a traditional part of the Mass, opens with the exultant declaration of praise to God in the highest. The text moves through adoration, blessing, and glorification of the divine, expressing profound gratitude for God's great glory. The text then addresses the heavenly King, Almighty God the Father, followed by the unique praise of Jesus Christ, the Only-Begotten Son.
