About Geheimnis
Jens Klimek's Geheimnis is a secular work for SATB choir in German. The text explores a mystical union between the singer and a beloved, where joy and pain are intertwined. The imagery evokes a moonlit mountain ravine and the sound of a waterfall, creating a scene of profound emotional depth. The music likely reflects these contrasts, moving between moments of intense feeling and quiet contemplation. This setting offers an expressive opportunity for a choir seeking to interpret rich, evocative German poetry.
