About Gaudete omnes
Gaudete omnes et exultate is a motet that calls for joyous celebration, urging all to rejoice and exult in the festive day. The Latin text, opening with a plea for defense, protection, and preservation, speaks of angels rejoicing in solemnity and praising God's Son. The music reflects this exultant mood, offering a vibrant setting for the sacred words. Guido Rovetto's setting is crafted for a solo voice, S, providing an intimate yet powerful delivery of this uplifting message.
